For the Kaleidoscope project at Somers Park Primary School, the children created their own Islamic patterns to accompany their dance. They built on their designs by running each pattern through live tiling software I developed in Processing. The same software was used to generate the gentle live visuals from their final pattern designs, and was used as a live backcloth for their dance performance.
