For Somers Park Primary School's carnival dance piece, the children (inspired by Futurist artwork) created motifs of various elements and instruments from their accompanying samba music. These elements were composed into a music visualiser (created in Processing) that focussed on each element in the music (hi-hat, bass drum, brass etc), and altered the scale and position of each motif to create the live visualisation used as a backcloth in their dance.
