Land of the Giants was a series of workshops held at Stanley Road Primary School, where I worked with year 6 children to help them photograph their own visual illusions.
The illusions used perspective, distance, camera angles and objects to create an array of effects in photography without the help of post imaging effects.
The children, as usual with Stanley Road, were quick to pick up the difficult concepts of scale and distance, and were soon creating some fantastic pieces.
I eventually merged the images to form a Land of the Giants landscape for the school's exhibition.
