There's a hidden element in this design that probably wouldn't be apparent to anyone but myself. The background is a data visualisation based on the previous year's election results and the geo-location of each polling station across Gloucestershire. No, really.
Anyway, this years' election designs followed on from 2008, with the dark moody visual and bright neon colours surrounding a central glowing election logo.
